Hello, I’m Sean.

On paper, my resume looks like a contradiction. I left the United States Naval Academy in 1999 with a foundation in Control Theory, spent two decades running car lots, and now I’m in Boston publishing papers on quantum foundations and discrete geometry while working the door at the Black Rose. But if you understand operations research, it’s a perfectly straight line. Whether you're designing auction mechanisms for National Airspace slot allocations or automating data pipelines on a volatile dealership floor, the underlying mechanics are the same.

I spent twenty years in the trenches of retail automotive. I’ve done 10,000 deals, managed finance departments, and rebuilt failing operations from the bottom up. The car business teaches you one brutal, beautiful truth: the ledger closes every single night. You can’t bullshit a floorplan, and you can’t narrative your way past depreciation.

When the global market fractured in March 2020, I built Python pipelines to automate inventory tracking. Analyzing that data, it became clear the foundational math driving public models didn't add up. Navigating that structural noise demanded absolute logical clarity, so I went back to school. I finished my degree at SNHU, and that’s where the dam broke. I realized that data management is entirely about addressability.

I formalized the core equations (dr = ip | IS = ∞ − 1 ) and recognized that coherence demands contradiction. Grounded by John Cramer’s Transactional Interpretation of quantum mechanics, this work evolved into the Informational Number Field (INF). The INF is a deterministic, compression-based number system where primes act as structural eigenvalues, yielding a 3.75 compression gain over the Prime Number Theorem (verified by z-scores > 9 across 25 million primes).

I don't have a traditional ivory-tower pedigree; I have two decades of real-world systems engineering masked as a car career. But I have the receipts. My 2003 IEEE-published research with MITRE was cited in multiple AT&T patents, and my current stack of papers is ready to be formalized.

Now, I run 9Stone Operations Research here in Boston to connect with PhD boards, tech designers, and anyone who realizes the current models are broken.
